- Description
- The requirement is to repair circuit 'E' - Phase III. The contractor is to furnish construction services and the subsequent engineering services for plans, specifications, and cost estimate for Repair of E Circuit, Phase III. The contractor shall provide all equipment, materials, engineering, and supervision to replace existing overhead primary power lines with new underground primary power on portions of E circuit at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. The contractor will install a new underground electrical distribution systems and demolish the existing aerial electrical distribution system, approximately 6,000 linear feet of 15KV #2 cable, approximately 2,366 linear feet of 15KV 4/0, approximately 7,920 feet of conduit 6' PVC, approximately 60 feet of conduit 6' Rigid Steel, and three '575' vaults. Period of performance is 120 calendar days. The government intends to post the solicitation via the Federal Business Opportunities website, www.FedBizOpps.com, on or around 29 July 2011. Paper copies are not available. The NAICS code is 237310; size standard $33.5M. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation is a small business set-aside. This solicitation will result in a firm-fixed price contract.
