- INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND MAILED OR EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST. CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a single source requirement for AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL ADVANCED RESEARCH SIMULATOR (ATCARS) UPGRADE. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with GALLIUM VISUAL SYSTEMS INC who is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and maintains sole ownership of the software/hardware code. This procurement is in accordance with Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, Single Source Selection. This public single source announcement is for informational purposes only, NOT a request for proposals. All responses to this notice must be received by 3:00 p.m. CST, Monday, July 18, 2011. Email responses are permitted at matilda.marker@faa.gov. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to this public announcement. Any proprietary information should be so marked. This public announcement shall not be construed as a request for proposal or an obligation on the part of the FAA to acquire these supplies/services.
