- Description
- The National Park Service at Yosemite National Park, California, (the Park) has a requirement to secure the services of a vendor possessing adequate knowledge and expertise to perform road striping in four (4) locations of the Park. Those locations are Wawona, El Portal, Hodgdon Meadows and Tuolumne Meadows and consist of applying traffic markings, centerline striping, arrows, crosswalks, speed bumps stop bars and other markings. Evaluation criteria will be based on lowest price technically acceptable. The project magnitude will be between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. A bid guarantee, payment and performance bonds along with liability insurance will be required prior to performance of work. Award will result in a firm fixed contract awarded to one vendor only. This solicitation is restricted to all service disabled verteran owned small businesses with the NAICS code 237310 and size standard of $33.5 million. Davis Bacon Wages will apply, see General Decision Number: CA100029 07/01/2011 CA29 for Mariposa, Madera and Tuolmne Counties which will be attached to the solicitation. Interested contractors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration (CCR), www.ccr.gov and be in ORCA. RFP P11PS80616 will be issued electronically in approximately 15 days (July 29) and may be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System - Electronic Commerce at http://www.fbo.gov. Responses will be due approximately 30 days following the date of posting. Please view complete solicitation when issued for all requirements and Statement of Work. Proposals will be accepted in hard copy format, mailed to Yosemite National Park, PO Box 700-W, El Portal, CA 95318. E-mail copies will also be accepted if not exceeding 10 pages, sent to Jody Auerbach. Upon award, a Notice to Proceed will be issued. Road striping is expected to take approximately 3 weeks. Site visit information can be found in Section L of the solicitation, when posted. The Government reserves the right to cancel this announcement and/or the solicitation.
