- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F3B7BA1186AC01 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). Funds for this acquisition are not currently available. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect for Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-42. This acquisition is unrestricted. //Schedule of items: This requirement is for AFN equipment to support existing AFN radio for local military community in Stavanger, Norway. //CLIN 0001: 1 ea 60 watt FM Transmitter Main/Alternate Main including (2) transmitters, with automatic transmitter switcher, RF switch and 35 RU Rack Cabinet. 110/220 volts, 50/60 Hz, single phase. //CLIN 0002: 1 ea Digital Processor. Standard Features: Five-band and two-band processing as well as a premium-quality stereo encoder. Digital I/O is included. Inputs: AES/EBU and electronically balanced stereo analog (XLR). Sample rates automatically selected for AES/EBU input: 32,44.1 48, 88.1, and 96 kHz. Two SCA inputs (BNC) with adjustable sensitivity. 10 MHz reference input allows the pilot tone and output sample frequency to be locked to a high-precision reference like GPS. Output sample rates selected in software: 32, 44.1, 48, 88.1, and 96 kHz. Outputs: AES/EBU, electronically balanced and floating stereo analog (XLR). Two stereo encoder composite outputs (BNC). Remote control interface (DB25), RS-232 interface (DB9), 100 Mb/sec Ethernet interface (RJ45). Included PC Remote software runs on Windows XP, Vista, and 7. 1RU. //CLIN 0003: 1 ea RU dial-up and/or Internet/LAN transmitter remote control with recordable voice response. Silence sense, temperature sense and AC power failure monitoring are included with unit. Eight channels each of status, telemetry and raise/lower control. Includes expansion port for future expansion. //CLIN 0004: 1 ea Shipping to: 426 ABS/ SCO, UNIT 6615, APO AE 09706-6615 Delivery terms: 15 days after receipt of order. //When price quotations are submitted please note that quotes should be exclusive of Value Added Tax.
