- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number N68836-11-T-0366 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the lastest edition of the Federal Acquisition Circular. This solicitation is issued on an Total Small Business Set-A-Side basis, NAICS Code 334310; The Security Dept, NAS Jacksonville FL 32212 requires: 9 each In-Car Video Systems and installation of these systems; Statement of Work: Operational Statement of Work for In-Car Police Video System We are requesting purchase approval for a technically advanced dependable In-Car Police Video System that meets or exceeds the following criteria: Technical Specification/Requirements: 1.Small lightweight integrated wireless download digital in-car video system (Mirror mount for limited space utilization). 2.Durable low profile self-contained system, dual solid state storage device, secured in two separate locations within vehicle. 3.Front & Rear Camera (Day/Night) Capability 4.7-Day Internal Storage Capacity 5.GPS Antenna 6.Wireless Microphone 7.(3) CF 16 GIG Card 8.DVR 9.Low power energy saver 10.Minimum Component (limited additional equipment required) 11.Easy installation (no specialized/additional attachments/brackets required) 12.Minimum Manufactures (1-yr) Warranty 13.Installation/Operational Tech Support (Local Service/Install Support) The specialized law enforcement video equipment is to support both law enforcement and anti-terrorism operations aboard NASJAX. Provides an essential benefit that offsets manpower limitations/shortages through technological support. It allows for immediate on scene video documentation (evidence) during extremely dangerous situations such as vehicle traffic stops, mobile vehicle inspections, and counter surveillance operations. Enhances the efforts of law enforcement and security forces by accurately capturing, recording and tracking each operation, while securing evidentiary proof of the entire incident. Additionally, it acts as a silent partner (backup) to the solo patrolman in the field.
