Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 16/Station 502, intends to publish a Request for Quote to provide Leased Voice and Data Lines for the Alexandria Veterans Affairs Medical Center, its CBOCs, Veteran's Center and HBPC units located in Louisiana. The intended contract period will be for a base period and two option years and is scheduled to begin on 01 Oct 2011. Contract type will be a fixed price contract and will be solicited under authority of FAR Part 12, 13 and FAR 13.5 The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 517110 and the small business size standard is 1500 employees. The solicitation package will be available approximately on or about 15 Jul 2011 and should be downloaded from this website at that time. This acquisition will be unrestricted for full and open competition. This requirement is subject to availability of funds. To be considered for award, all offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), the primary registrant database for the U.S. Federal Government. For registration information, please access: https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx. Prospective offerors should not expect notification of issuance of amendments other than via the Federal Business Opportunities website and are responsible for obtaining all amendments as posted. Prior to submission of a proposal, offerors are expected to read the solicitation documentation in its entirety to fully understand the Government's statement of Objectives, the RFQ's terms and conditions, the evaluation factors and proposal instructions. Offerors will be expected to provide a technical proposal that responds to the Government's Statement of Objectives and will serve as the performance work statement of the resulting contract. Offerors who are unable to access or open uploaded attachments may contact the Contracting Officer to obtain copies.
