- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR THE ADMINISTRATION BUILDING REMODELING AND EXPANSION PROJECT AT JEFFERSON BARRACKS NATIONAL CEMETERY LOCATED IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting bids under Solicitation Number VA-786A-11-IB-0071 for the following: Contractor shall provide all professional labor, materials, equipment and supervision to perform and complete all work for the Administration Building Remodeling and Expansion Project at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in accordance with the Project 852CM3033 specifications and drawings COST MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. CONTRACT DURATION: The performance period is approximately 585 calendar days from date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. NAICS: 236220SIZE STANDARD: $33.5 million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-PRICE SERVICE CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED (SDVOSB) SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible SDVOSB responding to this solicitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) details and specifications may be accessed ONLY via FedBizzOpps at http://www.fedbizzops.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation and statement of work will be issued on or about July 28, 2011. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be uploaded to FedBizzOpps. Offerors are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipt of offers. Paper copies of the amendments WILL NOT be individually mailed by the contracting officer. BIDDERS MAILING LIST: Interested parties should register for the Bidder's Mailing List at http://www.fedbizzops.gov "Interested Vendor List". Copies of the Bidder's Mailing List WILL NOT be distributed by the contracting officer. SITE VISIT: There will be a Pre-Bid Conference scheduled for this project. The date for that will be determined once the solicitation is issued. Other site visits by the Bidders shall be may be made only by appointment with the Cemetery Director, Jeffrey Barnes, (314) 845-8320. All questions must be submitted in writing to bryan.ramso@va.gov and mark.ivory@va.gov by close of business date to be determined. The cemetery director and cemetery personnel may not answer any questions.
