- Draft PWS for September Conference THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary, and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The 21st Contracting Squadron is searching for vendors that can provide non-personal services in support of the HQ NORAD and USNORTHCOM/J7 (N-NC/J7) Training and Exercise Directorate joint training exercise and individual instruction programs to ensure HQ NORAD and USNORTHCOM (N-NC) is prepared to accomplish its mission: anticipate, deter, prevent and defeat threats and aggression within its area of responsibility Hotel shall provide conference support and guest rooms as identified in paragraph 2.0 in support of the Joint Staff sponsored WJTSC. The general objectives of the WJTSC are to provide a forum to present and resolve Combatant Command/Combat Support Agencies/Service and Interagency joint training and exercise issues, facilitate Joint Staff discussion with the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Training Community regarding joint training and exercise programs and initiatives, establish a plan of action and milestones to resolve outstanding joint training and exercise issues and validate and discuss the Joint Exercise Program Schedule. Hotel facilities must be located within the local Colorado Springs community. The Government's requirement for this service is being developed. Market research is being conducted to determine interest, socio-economic category, comments to the Performance Work Statement. Interested parties are requested to submit comments to a total limit of three pages which address the following areas: 1) Is your business categorized as a large or small business? 2) What information do you require to propose to this service other than a performance work statement? 3) What comments do you have to the attached performance work statement? 4) Can your organization accommodate all of the conference room requirements referenced in the PWS? 5) Does your facility have the capability to support 300 guest rooms at the standard government per diem rate as required by the PWS? 6) Does your facility have the capability to provide the number of VIP rooms as outlined in the PWS? 7) Is your facility available during the conference dates of 24 September 2011 through 30 September 2011? 8) Do you have any questions regarding the PWS?
