- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to award a sole source contract for services to provide this requirement to Mythics Inc., 1439 North Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach, AL 233454. CIO/G6 personnel have not been able to find other computer components that can fulfill the requirements that the Oracle can provide to the AMCOM computing environment. The CIO/G6 uses computer trade journals and the world-wide web to conduct research. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The associated NAICS code is 541519 and the small business size standard is $25million. The small Business Compteitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable. Requirement is as follows: 1. GENERAL: This is non-personnel services contract to Oracle Advanced Customer Services Contracted Services to provide 24, 8 hours per day, of technical support services to CIO/G6 System Administrators who are installing a new version of Oracle Software. A total of 192 hours of support will be performing the services herein. Such contract services providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turns is responsible to the Government. 1.1Description/Objectives of Services/Introduction: The contractor shall provide 24 days of technical support services by way of commercial telephone system to CIO/G6 system administrators who are installing a new version of Oracle Software. No travel cost or equipment cost will be incurred on this contract. 1.2Scope: The CIO/G6 has a requirement to purchase 24 days of Oracle Advanced Customer Services Contracted Services to provide technical assistance to CIO/G6 System Administrators who are installing a new version of Oracle Software. This contract award will ensure performance optimization of existing baseline. 1.3Period Of Performance: The period of Performance shall be for one (1) Year from date of contract award. 1.4Place of Performance: The work to be performed under this contract will be performed at the contractor location over a commercial telephone system. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial. The offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items. 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests and Receiving Reports. 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All submissions and any questions regarding this request must be submitted via email to: Bonifacio.magdaleno@us.army.mil by 14 July 2011, 1200pm CT. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Technical capability and price. Award will be made to the lowest price technically acceptable offer.
