Description
Statement of Work for H-60 Program Calibratrion Standards, Model 2022 Alignment Scope. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to solicit three (3) known sources, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Brunson Instrument Corp. of Kansas City, MO; authorized distributors, Kara Co., Inc. of La Grange, IL, and North American Survey Corp. of Spring, TX, on a limited competition basis for, Alignment Telescope, P/N: 2022, Qty- twelve (12) each. This Peculiar Support Equipment (PSE) will be used to support the H-60 program in producing six calibraton stations for the H-60 Boresight Collimator. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 3204 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. Brunson Instrument Corp., Kara Co., Inc. and North American Survey Corp. are the only known sources that are able to fulfill this requirement. The Government does not own current data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offer. Offers will be evaluated on a strict pass/fail basis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of the notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
