- The USDA Forest Service, National Forests in Florida anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal for the asphalt paving of two trailhead parking lots and construction of two concrete plazas. This contract will consist of asphalt paving at the Pipeline trailhead and Delancy Loop trailhead and construction of a concrete plaza at each location on the Ocala National Forest, Marion and Putnam Counties, FL. The solicitation and related documents will be available for download at http://fbo.gov/ on or about July 27, 2011. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed out. Interested vendors should register to receive notifications through this site. The government will award one contract as a result of this Request for Proposal. The Government estimate is between $250,000 - $500,000. In order to receive award under this RFP the successful offeror shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database, have completed the online representations and certifications (www.orca.gov) and be a certified 100% HUBZone Small Business. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Forest Service.
