- **PLEASE READ: THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. NO OTHER INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE UNTIL THE SOLICIATION IS ISSUED ON THE DATE IDENTIFIED BELOW. SCOPE: Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supervision and transportation required to renovate or repair Seiad Oaks Residence as described in the contract specifications. Work includes exterior siding, trim replacement, installation of kitchen and bathroom cabinets, laminate countertops, masonary, sheet vinyl flooring, drywall, electrical, plumbing, interior and exterior painting and removal of water tank. All work shall be done in accordance with the contract documents and applicable state and local adopted building, electrical and plumbing codes. LOCATION: The project site is located at the Seiad Oaks Residence on the Happy Camp Ranger District of the Klamath National Forest. The Seiad Oaks Residence is located in Seiad Valley, approximately 1.2 miles north of Hwy 96. Seiad Valley is on Hwy 96, approximately 44 miles west of I-5. PRICE RANGE: The price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. CONTRACT TIME: Estimated start work date is September 1, 2011. The latest completion date is 120 calendar days from the date of contract award; however, all work (including final clean-up) must be completed within 45 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Notice to Proceed will be issued at the Contractor's request, or 120 days from contract award, whichever is sooner. SET-ASIDE: This project is 100 percent set aside for Small Business. NAICS Code: 236118 with a Small Business Size Standard $33.5 million average annual receipts. BONDING: Bonding will be required of the successful contractor within 10 days of contract award. A bid guarantee is NOT required. SOLICIATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation will issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) requiring both price and response to evaluation criteria described in the solicitation. Documents will only be available electronically to download from this website on or about July 28, 2011. RESPONSE TIME: Request for Proposals will be accepted at Northern California Acquisition Service Area, Yreka Office, 1312 Fairlane Road, Yreka, CA 96097 NO LATER THAN 4:30 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on August 22, 2011 CCR AND ORCA REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS: Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a contract. Lack of registration in the CCR on the part of the offeror will render the offer ineligible for award. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov//. Additionally, contractors must submit their representations and certifications in the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). Registration is at the following website: http://www.bpn.gov. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) on this site has replaced the Plan Holders Lists available in the past. To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow directions on the site. The IVL is the only such list maintained for this procurement.
