- Draft Statement of Work- Embossed License Plates The U.S. Department of State (DOS), Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Office of Foreign Missions (DS/OFM) has a requirement for embossed license plates with water markings. These products will support DS/OFM as part of the Diplomatic Motor Vehicle (DMV) program which issues license plates to foreign mission personnel from OFM/DMV in Washington, DC and six (6) Regional Offices in the United States. OFM was created under the authority of Foreign Missions Act of 1982. The NAICS code is 323122. This is not a federal fleet operation. License plates are issued to non-U.S. Government vehicles only. The U.S. Department of State is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the below referenced requirements. Any offeror that can meet or exceed the requirements as stated are encouraged to send in information as requested below. The Government is requesting information in the form of company profile or literature on offered products from interested sources for this market survey. Interested firms should submit an email package no later than the 20th of July, 2011 to William Todd email address is toddwe2@state.gov and Vincent Sanchez email address is sanchezvj@state.gov. The following information should be part of the response email notice of interest: Contractor name; Dunn and Bradstreet Number, Cage Code and Headquarters address; Point of contact with telephone number and email address; Size of business; and country represented in which manufacturing takes place; All submittals should include at least three (3) points of contact from Government or other types of corporate references that have used your firms proposed products. This market research is for information and planning purposes only, and does not constitute a Request for Proposal. This Market Research is not to be construed as a commitment by the US Government. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date, a solicitation notice will be published. No award will be made as a result of this Market Research. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. Respondents will not be notified of the results of this survey.
