- AMENDMENT OF SOLICITATION -- 000001 The purpose of this amendment is twofold: 1. Change "Standard Form 1449" -- Page 4 of 5: Strike in totality -- "The pricing for the alfalfa cubes shall be provided in "per bag" format. For the estimated quantity of 6,550 bags (over the course of the 5-year period of performance, one base year and four option years) and including delivery to the Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC), the price for each bag shall be tiny_mce_marker_________." Replace with -- "The pricing for the Porcine Feed shall be provided in "per bag" format. For the estimated quantity of 6,550 bags (over the course of the 5-year period of performance, one base year and four option years) and including delivery to the Plum Island Animal Disease Center (PIADC), the price for each bag shall be tiny_mce_marker_________." 2. Change "Standard Form 1449 Terms and Conditions" -- Page 15 of 18: Strike in totality - (4) FAR 52.216-2 Economic Price Adjustment - Standard Supplies (JAN 1997) (a) The Contractor warrants that the unit price stated in the Schedule for "Animal Feed (Purina Grainland alfalfa cubes, 50 lb. bags)" is not in excess of the Contractor's applicable established price in effect on the contract date for like quantities of the same item. The term "unit price" excludes any part of the price directly resulting from requirements for preservation, packaging, or packing beyond standard commercial practice.
