- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number FA4625-11-Q-0027. This procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside IAW FAR 19.502-2(b). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811213. For the purpose of this procurement the small business size standard is $10.0 Million. General Wage Decision # 05-2307 Revision -12 dated 6/17/2011 applies to this acquisition and can be found at http://www.wdol.gov/. All offers are to remain valid for a period of 120 days. Basis for Award; The Government will award a contract from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. Paper copies of the Request for Quotation shall not be made available. This requirement is for implementation of a communications manhole/handhole naming and cable racking system for 341 manholes on Whiteman Air Force Base in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Period of performance will be 180 days after date of award. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53, Defense Acquisition Circular 20110629, and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2011-0421.
