- Notice of Contract Action for a Sole Source Procurement SUBJECT: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE-SOURCE PROCUREMENT FOR F1S0BB1167B002- Parachute System for test Parachute Program Requirements: Line Item 0001- 3 Ea MJ10 w/OTS &Hand Deploy including MS-280 M1C & TR-281, Parachute Systems, Part Number (CPS-MJ-SYS-USAF-TPP). Line Item 0002- 3 Ea O2 pouch with zipper for twin 53's, Part Number (CPS-Misc). Line Item 0003- 3 Ea Cypress - 2 1 pin military 1500 ft - 35M/S ABS, Part Number (CPS-AAD2C1M1535A). Line Item 0004- 3 Ea Military gear bag multi-cam colored gear bag order must specify embroidery or no embroidery size large, Part Number (CPS-GBG-07-MCAM-LG). FOB destination Edwards AFB, CA. Description: INTENT TO AWARD SOLE-SOURCE procurement to Complete Parachute Solutions Inc. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) at 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Edwards Air Force Base, California, 93524 intends to solicit with and award a sole source procurement to Complete Parachute Solutions Inc., 1320 E International Speedway STE 1, Deland, FL 32724 for 3 Ea Parachute Systems. The procurement is for the acquisition of a sole source commercial item using simplified procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. The proposed action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1); only one source reasonably available. Potential vendors must be on the approved AF PPPM list found at https://wwwd.my.af.mil/afknprod/ASPs/CoP/OpenCoP.asp?Filter=OO-TO-00-32. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 314999 and the size standard is 500 employees. However, interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements may submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide 3 Ea Parachute Systems as described in this notice and any attachments hereto, which if timely received, will be considered by this agency. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this announcement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement can be conducted. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responsible sources who are able to meet all of the requirements have responded to this notice by 4 PM (PDT) 27 July 2011, it is anticipated that a sole source award will be made to Complete Parachute Solutions, Inc. 1320 E International Speedway STE 1, Deland, FL 32724 on or about 30 July 2011.
