The Government intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Aviation Ground Equipment Corporation, 53 Hanse Ave, Freeport NY 11520-4608. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1, this firm is considered the only supplier of required items, which are required in accordance with the P-3C Instrument Calibration Procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
