- Description
- USAID/Armenia will contract for design and construction services to address the basic drinking water needs of the population of Stepanakert city in the Nagorno Karabakh territory through renovation and upgrade of a water system. The contractor will improve the infrastructure to increase the water supply and provide safe drinking water to 1,500 people living in Stepanakert. The Contractor shall: (1) prepare a complete design package for rehabilitation of the water supply facilities (water supply network of zone # 2 in Stepanakert) and (2) carry out the rehabilitation/construction works set forth in the design package. This will be a design/built contract with an expected duration of twelve months and estimated cost in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000. The work will include a full environmental assessment in accordance with 22 CFR 216.
