- AAC/PKOBD, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for High Speed Version of OFV-5000 Controller and High Speed Velocity Decoder to Polytec, Inc. of Hopkinton, MA under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Anticipated award date is 17 July 2011. This requirement is for: CLIN 0001: (1 EA) High Speed Version of OFV-5000 Controller. Capable of measurements up to 20 m/s. Operates with OFV-525 sensor head or custom built OFV-552-X fiber optic head. P/N OFV-5000-S CLIN 0002: (1 EA) High Speed Velocity Decoder, 8 velocity ranges 10 mm/s/V - 2000 mm/s/V. Maxim velocity 20 m/s. Maximum bandwidth 2.5 MHz (range dependent). Fully compatible with OFV-5000-S controller. P/N VD-09-S These items must be delivered to: AFRL/RWMF 306 W. EGLIN BLVD, EGLIN AFB, FL 32542 no later than 16 WEEKS after receipt of order on an FOB Destination basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334516, small business size standard: 500 Employees. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. However, the government will consider all responses received within 5 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
