- SSP intends to negotiate and award contract for Engineering Services to support the Delta System Critical Design Review, conduct Increment 2 Cabinet Level Qualifications, Support Increment 4 and Increment 2 Qualification Testing at Crane, and evaluate alternate power supplies for SSI increment 2 Network Switch. Negotiations will be conducted with General Dynamics Advaced Information Systems (GDAIS), Pittsfield, MA. GDAIS is the sole manufacturer for the TRIDENT II D5 Strategic Weapon System (SWS) Fire Control System and Attack Weapon Control System and the only source with the in-depth knowledge, expertise, and in-place capability to perform the required effort.
