Amendment 002, GTO RFI No. 2 Amendment 002 to GSA Technology Operations (GTO), 1 attachment, 2 pages: ______________________________________________________________________ Amendment 001 to GSA Technology Operations (GTO), 2 attachments: Attachment 1: Amendment 001, GSA Technology Operations "GTO" Attachment 9: GSA Technology Operations "GTO" Customer Locations spreadsheet. _______________________________________________________________________ This is a Presolicitation, Request for Information (RFI). This is GSA's second outreach intended to engage industry (as addressed in attached cover letter) in an exchange of ideas that will assist us in finalizing our IT infrastructure service requirements and structuring the pending procurement for GSA's technology operations (GTO) program. The cover letter contains six (6) questions to industry with instructions on how to respond below "entitled" How to respond to questions listed in attachment no. 1 "Cover Letter," in addition to the cover letter, are a "DRAFT" Performance Work Statement (PWS) and a "DRAFT" GTO Requirements document that summarizes GSA's proposed requirements for GTO. The GSA technology operations program is the GSA, Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) consolidated program that supports their role as the Information Technology (IT) service provide for the agency. The initial GSA IT Infrastructure Technology Global Operations (GITGO) task order was awarded to Catapult Technology, Ltd. on February 28, 2007, and is worth in excess of $200 million over a 5-year period of performance. The final option year for the current GITGO task order ends April 9, 2012. In order to provide sufficient time for an orderly transition, GSA is anticipating award of a follow on task order/contract during the second quarter of FY 2012. Nonetheless, submitters should properly mark their responses, accordingly, if the information is considered to be confidential or proprietary. • Responses to the RFI will not be returned nor is it GSA's intent at this phase to exchange information or to provide feedback to your responses. • Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot/will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. • Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. How to Respond to Questions that are listed in Attachment No. 1 Cover Letter: • Preferred method of submission electronic communication "email." • Please submit your written responses to the attached questions no later than July 11, 2011, 12pm (EST) via email "only" to the primary contact: Denise D. Young via email at denise.young@gsa.gov with a copy to the alternate contact: Lydia E. Dawson, Contracting Officer, at email lydia.dawson@gsa.gov. • No telephone inquires will be accepted. • The attached document contains a total of six (6) directed questions. You may answer any or all of the questions, to the best of your ability. Please respond using the number of the question found in the attachment. • Failure to respond to this request for information will not prohibit offerors from responding to any subsequent solicitations related to this program. • Companies responding to this RFI shall designate a single point of contact within that company for receipt of all subsequent information regarding this presolicitiation. • To fully comprehend the information contained within a response to this RFI, the reviewing group "may" seek further clarification on that response. You may be asked to submit your clarification in the form of written communication, preferably via email. • Please limit responses to a maximum of ten (10) pages total, for all six (6) questions or any portion thereof.
