For request for solicitation, provide your name, the company name and Cage Code and a telephone/facsimile number.*** PR: AX1F5183AX. The Government proposes to acquire on a three-year IDIQ contract a quantity of 100 each minimum to 300 each maximum of a SHAFT ASSY, INTERMEDIATE TO TAIL ROTOR GEARBOX STABILAT, NSN: 3040-01-156-5372, Part Number: 7-211350027-3, applicable to the BJ-AH-64 APACHE. This item is restricted to BOEING COMPANY, CAGE CODE: 8V613, and GOODRICH CORPORATION: 99551 because The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. Production Lead-time without First Article Testing is 100 each due 360 Days after Contract Award (DACA). Production Lead-time with First Article Testing is 100 each due 420 Days after Contract Award (DACA). The First Article Test Report is due 278 DACA. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency.
