- This solicitation is for timber stand improvement activities on the Sioux Ranger District of the Custer National Forest. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies (except those designated as Government furnished), and incidentals to perform all work necessary on the areas specified. Work Item 1 - Ridge Timber Stand Improvement with Slash Treatment located on the Sioux Ranger District and Work Item 2 - Ekalaka Hills Timber Stand Improvement with Slash Treatment. Can be bid separately for 2 separate awards. Price Range $25,000-$100,000.00 PREBID TOUR:Tour for Work Item 1 and 2: Ridge Timber Sale and Ekalaka Hills Timber Stand Improvement and Associated Slash Treatment Date: July 19th, 2011 Time: 10:00 AM Location: Meet at the Sioux Ranger District, Camp Crook, South Dakota SPECIAL NOTICE: YOU MUST CONTACT SCOTT ELMORE AT 605-797-4432 NO LATER THAN JULY 15, 2011 TO RESERVE A PARTICIPATING SLOT FOR YOU. If no reservations are received for participation in this prebid tour, it shall be cancelled without further notice.
