- Description
- The contractor shall design and construct a multipurpose Auditorium/performing arts and educational Training Facility at Ft Detrick, MD. Construct alterations to Bldg 1520 for use as a 350-seat community Auditorium (10,125 square foot) and to expand the existing Education Center (18,500-square-foot). Auditorium renovations include lobby, storage, back stage space, and restrooms. The renovation includes lobby, storage, back stage space, and restrooms for the auditorium. The education center includes both general and special purpose classrooms, offices, storage and a direct corridor connection to the adjacent existing library and other community support activity space. The renovation should be designed in a modular fashion to facilitate multi-purpose use. One egress stairwell, fire exits, and handicap access will be provided.
