- Description
- The USAF Electronic Systems Center intends to issue a sole source contract to Northrop Grumman to purchase and integrate two BACN Payloads on two Global Hawk Block 20 Aircrafts. Northrop Grumman is currently operating and maintaining two Global Hawk Block 20 Aircrafts with BACN payloads for operations as part of the BACN program under contract FA8726-09-C-0010. This effort will add two additional Global Hawk Block 20 Aircrafts with BACN payloads as a modification to the BACN JUON contract. This contract will be awarded under "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements'. A Justification and Approval for proceeding with this acquisition under Other Than Full and Open Competition is pending coordination and approval will be posted within 14 days of any contract award. This synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB) or a Request for Proposals (RFP) nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice nor will it reimburse firms for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice.
