Description
Campbell Point Understory - Solicitation AG-82X9-S-11-0144 The Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests, Grand Valley Ranger District has a requirement to masticate (chop, shred, mulch, chip or mow) approximately three units containing 210 acres of predominately oak brush/intermountain brush species forming the understory of a predominant Ponderosa Pine stands on USFS lands on the west side of the Uncompahgre Plateau. The project area is approximately 45 air miles south of Grand Junction, Colorado Work shall occur in Mesa County in Colorado. This solicitation is set-aside for Small Businesses. Price Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 115310 with a size standard of $33.5M. MANDATORY SITE VISIT - Offerors who fail to attend will not be considered. Currently scheduled for 15 August 2011 @ 1000 Mt at the Site. Note: Site Visit date & time subject to change (see solicitation). Directions: From Grand Junction, access HWY. 6/50 proceeding east toward Delta, Colorado. Approximately 1/2 mile southeast of Whitewater, turn right onto State HWY. 141. Proceed approximately 14 miles to the intersection of HWY. 141 and the Divide Road (County Road 26.10). Turn left (south) on the 26.1 Rd. and proceed approximately 5 miles to the Forest boundary. The road then becomes the Divide Road (FSR 402). Travel approximately 22 miles to the intersection of FSR 402 and the Campbell Point turn-off road (FSR 411). Proceed downhill (west) to the intersection of FSR 411.1C. The treatment unit will be designated by flagging on the right side of this road. CAUTION- Forest Roads 411 and 411.1C, are native materials (dirt) surfaced roads. Adverse weather may make these roads impassable preventing access to or egress from the unit(s). CAUTION -Private lands are located adjacent to and or in close proximity to the project area. Care must be taken to assure resource damage or trespass does not occur on private lands. Solicitation will be available for download from FedBizOpps website at http://www.fbo.gov on or about 27 July 2011. The solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. Interested bidders are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and any amendments. Note: The solicitation number will only contain 1 "S". All prospective bidders must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. All Offerors must respond to all evaluation criteria in Section M of the solicitation to be considered responsive to this solicitation. Offerors to fail to meet the criteria will not be considered in the Technical Evaluation of offers.
