- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because there is only one responsible source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements (FAR 6.302-1). See posted J&A for further information. The Corpus Christi Army Depot has a requirement for Shipping Container Parts. Negotiations to be conducted solely with the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the containers, Container Research Corporation. This oral solicitation is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all quotes received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This determination is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephonic requests. Send all requests for oral solicitation to kathy.arthurs@us.army.mil.
