- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD: The 176 Mission Support Contracting Element, JBER, Alaska intends to award a purchase order for the purchase of the following Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) items: 45 EACH Gatorz Radiator (custom) Gunmetal/Grey Polarized mfr# RADGUN01P 45 EACH Gatorz Radiator (custom) Black/Clear mfr# RADBLK06 Please include shipping estimate to Anchorage AK 99506 All items above are brand name or equal. Eyewear is to be worn by pararescue personnel and must be thin enough to fit under the jump helmet and peltor head sets without interference. Award will be based on lowest price technically acceptable. This solicitation is set aside for small business. The NAICS code for this requirement is 339115, Ophthalmic Goods Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The anticipated award date is 26 July 2011. Firms that believe that they can provide similar required items must provide supporting evidence to the Contracting Officer. This announcement constitutes the only written notice.
