- Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) Live Fire SACON Villages Fort Bliss, Texas Source Sought for Information Synopsis: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Bliss is issuing this sources sought for information and planning purposes only. This sources sought is to determine how many businesses are qualified and capable of providing Live Fire SACON Villages. This notice is not a Request for Proposal/Quote or Bid. This RFI is used for market research to obtain knowledge if potential sources exist to fulfill this requirement. This information is not a commitment by the Government. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code that this work falls under is 332311, Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing, with a size standard in number of employees of 500. Specifications for this requirement are attached. A site visit is scheduled for 18 July 2011 to leave from MICC Fort Bliss at 0830 hour to 1230 hour. All interested firms shall attend the site visit on the scheduled date in order to have an opportunity to submit their technical capabilities specified in this notice. Provide a list of persons attending the site visit by no later than 14 July 2011. All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to the Point of Contacts listed below. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this sources sought. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. Government may modify or terminate the requirement anytime during the procurement process, without any incurred costs to the Government. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR). If your firm is capable of meeting the criteria, please submit the following information: 1) Firm Name and Address; 2) Point of Contact (name, telephone number, and e-mail address) 3) DUNS/CAGE Code; 4) Indicate which NAICS code(s) your company performs under Government contracts; 5) A brief summary of the company's capabilities in supporting the requirements; 6) Pricing Sheet; 7) Suggested Design(s); 8) Descriptive Literature Information of Design(s). The magnitude of this project is expected to be between $5M to $10M. All interested responsible businesses are encouraged to submit information at any time prior to expiration of this advertisement. Please submit any questions pertaining to this action in writing by no later than 14 July 2011 close of business.
