- PROJECT INFORMATION: The Medford District Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) requires the labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to conduct surveys for Special Status fungi under a three-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) services contract. Surveys must be performed according to the S&M Category B Fungi Equivalent Effort Survey Protocol. Tasks will include walking units to search for S&M fungi, compiling species lists of fungi encountered, and identifying and documenting Survey and Manage fungi, including hypogeous species. Units must be surveyed during the fall and spring fungi fruiting seasons, and are primarily forested stands more than 180 years old. Data shall be collected on project units in the Medford District and the Klamath Falls Resource Area/Lakeview District of the BLM. The corresponding NAICS Code for this contract is 115310, Support Activities for Forestry. The estimated start work date is September 1, 2011. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED/POSTED BY July 18, 2011. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
