- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, requires a contract to provide J&N Pile Repairs, Center Wharf, Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point (MOTSU), Brunswick County, North Carolina. Work consists of the repair, replacement and construction of existing concrete deck and pile caps at MOTSU. The pile and deck repairs will consist generally of removal of damaged concrete and reinforcing steel, splicing in new steel, and installation of protective jackets. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is over $10,000,000. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 29 July 2011. The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc) will be provided. This solicitation is a 100% Total Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction and the size standard is $35,500,000.00. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.
