- Description
- The USGS has a requirement for an IR Microscope (Microsampling) System, with mapping capabilities and an array detector for fast analysis of heterogeneous geological materials. The instrument will be used be a variety of scientists in the volcano, minerals, coastal and marine science centers with the specification as described in the attached (FedConnect) document. Interested parties should forward their contact information to the buyer listed below, via email to be included on the solicitation distribution list. FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, will be utilized on this action. Anticipated award date is August 31, 2011. Funds are not currently available for this requirement. The solicitation is being issued in anticipation of funds becoming available. No award will result from this solicitation unless and until funds become available. NAICS : 334516 PSC: 6650.
