- Description
- This project is for the removal of two existing culverts on Willow Creek. One culvert is a corrugated steel culvert and will be replaced with a structural-plate open bottom arch culvert on precast concrete footings. The second culvert is also a corrugated steel culvert and will be replaced using pre-cast concrete planks to allow for low water crossings. The work includes but is not limited to clearing and grubbing, erosion control measures, structural excavation, roadway embankment, removing and disposing an existing culvert crossing, compaction, riprap, roadway surfacing, placing Government-furnished precast concrete foundations, and erecting Government-furnished structural-plate arch culverts, installation of rock weirs, and all other incidental items necessary to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. This project will consist of one (1) firm fixed price award.11The allotted time for this contract is sixty (60) days from the date of issuance of the notice to proceed. All work shall be performed on the Laramie Ranger District of the Medicine Bow/Routt National Forest, Albany County, Wyoming A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for August 3, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. (Details of this meeting will be included in the solicitation). All participants must RSVP by August 2, 2011 by contacting Mindy Jiminez at 970-295-6683. This is a total small business set aside. The anticipated date for issuance of the solicitation is on or around July 21, 2011. The due date will be identified on the solicitation. The solicitation will be available for free download at www.fbo.gov. All questions pertaining to this solicitation must be submitted, in writing, to Mindy Jiminez at mrjiminez@fs.fed.us or via facsimile to 970-295-6688. All questions shall be submitted no later than August 5, 2011. All Offerors shall be registered to the Central Contractor's Registry (CCR) in accordance to FAR 52.204-7 to be considered responsive to this solicitation. All Offerors must be registered in ORCA in accordance to FAR 52.204-8 to be considered responsive to this solicitation. All Offerors must respond to all evaluation criteria in Section M of the solicitation to be considered responsive to this solicitation. Offerors to fail to meet these three criteria will not be considered in the Technical Evaluation of offers.
