Description
(i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Request for Quote AG-6395-S-11-0086 (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-53 July 5th, 2011. See https://www.acquisition.gov/far/ (iv) This solicitation is unrestricted (i.e., full and open competition) under the NACIS code of 325320 (size standard of less than 500 employees) (v) CLIN 0001 Quantity 12,250 Description Alpha Pinene, UHR 75% (vi) Description of requirements for the items to be acquired. Alpha pinene UHR Consist of Ultra High Release dispenser so that the lure will be emitted at a controlled rate of release Each product must be identified on both the lure packet and the shipping containers with lot number, contract number, and manufacturing date. There must be a certificate of chemical analysis for each lot. The dispensers shall be resistant to damage and moisture when handled during normal field trapping operations. The dispenser must contain the full amount of the active components upon receipt of the product at the designated delivery location (i.e., if you claim that your lure contains 10 grams of pinene it needs to contain 10 grams upon evaluation). The dispenser must fit the inside of the trap in a way that does not impede the installation or replacement of a new dispenser. Shelf life of six months. Stability dispensers shall exhibit satisfactory shelf life by remaining in compliance with the specifications for at least six months. This is a best value low priced technically acceptable acquisition using FAR 13.106-2 evaluation procedures. The following factors will be evaluated: Price and past performance. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror who meets the attached technical specifications and has acceptable past performance. Companies who have not submitted an Alpha Pinene Sample for analysis in the last year must submit 3 samples for quality assurance testing upon award but prior to delivery. (x) Offerors shall complete at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (May 2011) and submit a copy of the representation with its offer.
