- Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and expertise necessary to replace two (2) 850 Ton Cooling Towers at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare Center (North Little Rock Campus). The contractor may perform as much work as he needs to prior to 12/15/2011 without taking the cooling towers out of service. Cooling tower #1 may be taken out of service during the timeframe of 12/15/2011 through 2/15/2012. The new tower must be operational by 2/15/2012. Additional work may take place after 2/15/2012 to complete the work on tower #1. Tower #2 will be completed after Tower #1 is functioning. Work involves alterations to the concrete sump basin, setting the tower, piping arrangements and an upgrade to the electrical system. All work shall be performed in accordance to the project plans and specifications. The dollar magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. The NAICS is 238220 applies and size standard is $14.0 Million. This procurement is 100% Set-Aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. To be eligible for award the SDVOSB must be considered small under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in the following websites: Those desiring to receive an award from this solicitation must be registered at www.vetbiz.gov. Companies must have the Certified Veteran Enterprise (CVE) seal on their registration to be considered for an award. To be eligible for award you must also be registered in the following: www.ccr.gov; www.orca.bpn.gov; www.cpscontractor.nih.gov and www.vets100.vets.dol.gov. You must register as "Interested Vendor" at the Fedbizopps website for solicitation. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in www.Fedbizopps.gov; "To Receive Notification" for amendments. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the Fedbizopps website.
