- Solicitation Scope of Contract: The Bessey Ranger District of the Nebraska National Forest and Grasslands proposes to have a new 55'x90' Storage/Shop Building designed and built at their site. The Bessey Ranger District is located two (2) miles west of Halsey, Nebraska on Nebraska State Hwy. 2. Turn south one quarter (1/4) mile on State Hwy. 86B to the Bessey Nursery and District Office. The project site is located approximately 0.8 mile west of the Bessey Nursery and District Office on State Hwy. 86B next to the Bessey Fire Bunkhouse. The intent of this document is to outline in a general sense the work that is required under this contract, including both the design and construction phases. It is not intended to provide all detailed specifications for materials, labor, and workmanship. Preparation of detailed plans and specifications are the responsibility of the Contractor and are intended to be a part of the Contract. The following preliminary drawings are included with this document: Site Map, Site Plan, Proposed Building Location with Existing Contours, Existing Utilities Location Plan, and Building Footprint. These drawings and the following specifications outline the Owner's expectations for the project. The Owner welcomes any input from the Contractor on the preliminary drawings and specifications that would make the facility more functional, economically feasible, energy efficient, etc.
