- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested via this synopsis and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requisition Number W81EWF11582946 is being issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) with intent to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-50. This requirement is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses under NAICS Code 332321 with employees not exceeding 500. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) at Waterways Experiment Station (WES), Vicksburg, MS, Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory has a requirement for the following: The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) needs to purchase steel insulated doors. These components will be delivered to Rodgers Hollow Test Site, Fort Knox, KY by September 16, 2011.
