- The Cherry Point Satellite Contracting Office, Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, NC 28533 hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Quantell, Inc, 12582 National Pike, Grantsville, MD 21536, (Cage Code: 1SC05) to provide Administrative and Clerical Support services for the Industrial Planning Division, Industrial Plant Maintenance Division and Comptroller Group of the Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC for the period of 01 August 2011 through 31 December 2011 to prevent a disruption in services pending the solicitation, evaluation, and award of a long-term contract for this requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all quotes received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered. Interested parties may identify their interest and unique capabilities to respond to this requirement or submit their quote. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
