- DESCRIPTION This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) center located in Honolulu, Hawaii, will be issuing a solicitation, 100% Set-Aside to Small Business that can provide Claims Adjudication and Administrative Management services for the Honolulu Veterans Affairs Medical Center. This site is within the Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN 21) of the Department of Veterans Affairs. The contractor shall provide coding and billing consultative, review of health information documentation, and assessment of data integrity and quality services to the Veterans Affairs Pacific Island Health Care System (VAPIHCS); to assist VAPIHCS in establishing a confidence level with regard to the frequency of clean claims and with the data entry processes associated with a new electronic patient encounter billing system and reimbursement of authorized expenses. The contractor shall have knowledge and experience is working with VA and the Army's eDR (enhanced Document and Referral) data system. The Contractor shall review incoming Tripler Army Medical Center claims with UB04 and CMS 1500 prescribed format via eDR system. Eventually, the Contractor shall generate reports providing statistical information as needed and analysis of claims required for process improvement. Reports shall include claim and authorization numbers, various identifiable codes, reasons for review and final decisions. The solicitation document is VA-261-11-RP-0594 and the NAICS Code is 541611 and the size standard is $7.0 million.
