- Notice Type: Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) Synopsis: The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Desert Division, located at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, is issuing this sources sought for information and planning purposes only, and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of ACC-APG. This notice is not a Request for Proposal/Quote or Bid. This sources sought is a market research tool to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources which will be used for planning purposes and to determine if potential sources exist to support the requirement. This information is not to be interpreted as a commitment by the Government. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. This requirement is for the Contractor to provide Common Access Card (CAC) readers, Client Access Licenses (CAL) and Bluetooth wireless headsets. 1. This sources sought is issued to determine if there are interested Small Businesses capable of providing the devices and Licenses as specified by the government. a. Blackberry software and service connects to messaging and collaboration software (Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, Novell GroupWise) on enterprise networks and redirects emails and synchronize contacts and calendaring information between servers, desktop workstations, and mobile devices. All network mobile devices must be on the DoD Unified Capabilities List. 2. Large Businesses shall identify possible opportunities for small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns. The goal is that small businesses have the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in any future requirement. The anticipated NAICS code is 334220 Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications Equipment Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 employees. 3. Each potential source shall provide their capabilities to support the requirements. Note: Government may modify or terminate the requirement anytime during the procurement process, without any incurred costs to the Government. Contractor must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR).
