Description
F-22 IMIS Administration 1. The government intends to award a one year service contract with four options to provide system administration support for the F-22 Raptor's Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS), which will be awarded under full and open competition. This contract is expected to be awarded in July 2013. The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to conduct market research and to determine if any other firm has the capability to accomplish Contract Logistic Support (CLS) for the F-22 IMIS program Failure to meet required performance metrics for this contract is unacceptable. The following effort would be required on contract start date: • Provide qualified System Administration support for the F-22 Integrated Maintenance Information System (IMIS) which is a Oracle/Solaris10 with trusted extensions (UNIX) information system. • Perform all activities required to operate and repair F-22 IMIS, it's associated Support Equipment (Servers, Workstations, Ruggedized Laptops, and Multi-level secure network), as well as support all F-22 IMIS users • Provide System Administrative personnel that will deploy as required and support IMIS and its users during deployment (CONUS and OCONUS) • Provide technical support for all IMIS Support Equipment (SE) • Obtain/posses a minimum of Secret and F-22 Special Access Program (SAP) clearance - CAN NOT WORK ON PROGRAM WITHOUT SAP CLEARANCE 2. SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR NUMBERS AND LOCATIONS: LOCATION SLOTS Langley AFB - Virginia 14 Elmendorf AFB - Alaska 14 Tyndall AFB - Florida 14 Hickam AFB - Hawaii 9 Nellis AFB - Nevada 6 Sheppard AFB - Texas 2 3. BACKGROUND: This is an effort that had previously been executed under the current F-22 sustainment contract (Contract: FA8611-08-C-2897). IMIS Administrators were later identified in a BCA study as an area that could merit government savings. Several alternatives were considered, including in-sourcing these positions into civil service. The government is currently in the process of identifying the best course of action to provide system administration support to the F-22 IMIS Program. The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to identify organizations that will be able to provide Contract Logistics Support for the System Administration of the IMIS Program. 4. INFORMATION/FORMAT: Interested and capable contractors should submit their response regarding this contract and include the following information: • Company name and associated CAGE code • Point of contact name and number • Business status (8(a), Large, Small, HUBZone, Woman-owned, etc.) • Information on your organization's ability to support requirement 5. REQUEST FOR INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS: Please submit your comments to the Sources Sought Synopsis in an executive summary format not to exceed five (5) pages.
