Description
Under the direction of the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), the Navy flag officer development program develops and sponsors professional, executive level development programs for flag officers and Senior Executive Service (SES) members of the Department of the Navy (DON). The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) provides support with delivery of some workshops and additionally in facilitating contractual relationships with prominent universities with unique curricula tailored for the Navy leadership. In order to facilitate these requirements, a multiple award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) effort will be initiated. The objective of this contract vehicle is to support the CNO ™s current and expanding mission efforts. The foundation for all Navy senior leadership education programs is to transform flag officers and senior DON civilians into corporate citizens in the global environment. The Navy Executive Development Program (NEDP) focuses on workshops that are relevant and current, reflecting the latest academic research and lessons learned from industry. Refinement in the areas of risk management and assessment, innovation and creativity, decision-making and total ownership cost/financial literacy are essential for creating corporate citizens at their executive level of responsibility. These key objectives are enabled with these specific courses: Strategic Thinking (ST), Leading Innovation (LI) and Strategic Communication (SC). Interested sources may elect to propose on one, two or all three workshops. In accordance with FAR 52.216-27, the Government may award to two or more sources for each workshop. In accordance with FAR16.505 (b), multiple awardees will be provided a fair opportunity to be considered for individual task orders.
