- This announcement is a Pre-Solicitation Notice only and proposals are not being requested at this time. The National Park Service anticipates issuing a solicitation on or about July 21, 2011. This project is being 100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses.The Project Description consists of, but is not limited to: This is a Construction requirement for electrical work for the installation of new fire alarm systems installed in ten (10) buildings including Officers Row Housing 7, 8, 9, West District Ranger Station, Old Faithful ESB, Old Faithful ranger Station/Clinic, South Ranger Station, Bridge Bay Ranger Station, Lake Ranger Station and Aquatic Resources. The ten buildings include 36,550 SF of area. Buildings within the scope are all located within the boundaries of Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials, (with the exception of Government provided materials listed within the solicitation) equipment, transportation, and management necessary to perform construction services for the circuit installation, replacement, testing of integrity, and other related services for the alarm systems specified within the solicitation documents. The systems installed will protect tangible park resources and enhance visitor and staff safety specifically, by upgrading fire detection systems. The NAICS code is 238210. The Small Business Size Standard is $14.0M.The magnitude of construction is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This project will be a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation with specifications, drawings and wage rates will be posted to www.fedbizopps.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about July 21, 2011.
