- This is NOT a solicitation for proposals or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of potential contractors to manage Government owned water supply facilities. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) is conducting market research under this Request for Information (RFI) to implement noxious weed treatments on the Wind River Indian Reservation in central Wyoming. Depending on the response, BIA may issue a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for spraying of noxious weeds at various locations on the reservation. Vendors that are capable of providing information for this requirement are sought for input. Examples of previous experience or existing contracts relating to this request will be accepted as part of a response. If you have a General Services Administration (GSA) contract that will satisfy this requirement, please submit your GSA contract number with your response. All small business concerns under the applicable NAICS code should not submit a response to this notice, and responses from businesses that are not considered small businesses will not be considered. This RFI is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on behalf of the Government. The NAICS code for this requirement is 926140 Regulation of Agricultural Marketing and CommoditiesThe Product Service Code for this requirement is F099-Other Natural Resources and Conservation ServicesThe Small Business size standard is NOT ESTABLISHED Information Submission Instructions White paper responses submitted by interested parties shall be used as part of market research by the Bureau of Indian Affairs to develop potential options. Pursuant to FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be interpreted to form a binding contract. Any future contract that may be awarded based on information received or derived from this RFI will be the outcome of the competitive process. This announcement is based on the best information available, is subject to future modification, is not a request for proposal/quotation, and in no way commits the government to award of a contract. The BIA is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents to this RFI. ANY RESPONSES RECEIVED AFTER THE ESTABLISHED DATE AND TIME WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Please submit your response to this RFI in accordance with the following: (1)White paper format with no more than five (5) pages (excluding transmittal page) including the name, email address and phone number of the relevant representative(s) of your firm;(2)Address the capability of your firm to provide a full office supply catalogs and toner cartridges;(3)Verify your registration in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov);(4)Submit your response via email to Mr. Alvin (Jay) Windy Boy Jr at alvin.windyboy@bia.gov;(5)You must submit your responses by 1:00 p.m. local time, Billings, MT, no later than July 11, 2011.
