- Description
- This project is based on 228 PN at 388 sq ft per soldier at Schofield Barracks. The Primary Facility at Schofield Barracks includes Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing totaling 88,464 SF. All supporting facilities, IDS Installation and EMCS Connections. Primary facilities include living and sleeping quarters, baths, storage, service areas, information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation, and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connection. Sustainable Design and Development (SDD) and Energy Policy Act of 2005 EPAct05) features will be provided. Supporting facilities include site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, parking, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, information systems, landscaping and signage. Air conditioning will be provided by (self contained system/connection to the existing energy plant/etc.) (Air Conditioning is estimated at 180 Tons). Measures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards will be provided. Comprehensive building and furnishings related interior design services are required. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. The Contractor's design team must be able to meet LEED Silver certification or better for the design and construction of this facility.
