- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (RFQ) for commercial items in accordance with the format under Simplified Acquisition Procedures at Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.603, supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as Request for Quotations (RFQ) NLM-11-125-AS. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect in the March 2005 Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Revision, including all FAR Circulars issued as of the date of this synopsis. This acquisition is NOT a small business set-aside and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing. THIS IS A FIRM FIXED PRICE PURCHASE ORDER. It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure the following hardware equipment: Description of Services: HP ProLiant DL360 G7 High Performance Server - qty 3; HP Care Pack, 3 Years, 6 Hours, 24x7, CTR, ProLiant DL360 - qty 3; HP Storage 60 Modular Smart Array - qty 2; HP 2TB 3G SATA 7.2K rpm LEF (3.5-inch) Midline 1 yr warranty Hard Drive - qty 24; HP Smart Array P800 Controller - qty 2; HP TFT7600G2 KVM Console Rackmount Keyboard Monitor - Qty 1. VENDORS MUST QUOTE ON ALL PRODUCTS, NO PARTIAL QUOTES WILL BE ACCEPTED. This notice of intent is a request for competitive quotations. All responses received within 15 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by NLM. Information received in a timely manner will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The quoter shall include all information which documents and/or supports the qualification criteria in one clearly marked section of its quotation. Offeror must complete required registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, executive orders, rules and regulations applicable to its performance under this order.
