Description
NASA/NSSC has a requirement for a course entitled Beyond Zero IIF OrientationSession for Leaders (Train the Trainer) Workshop. The objective of the training is toconduct a three-day Incident and Injury Free (IIF) workshop with a select group of NASAand contractor personnel and develop them to powerfully deliver IIF Orientation sessions. The session will include the intent and commitment of the Leadership Team and to enlisttheir participation in making NASA MSFC an IIF culture. This orientation is a powerfultool bringing all current and future project employees and workers inside an IIF culture. The vendor shall be responsible for providing all participants with master copies of thetraining materials to allow them to facilitate the IIF Orientation Sessions. The vendorshall one, three-day Incident and Injury-Free Workshops with 16 participants. Trainingsessions shall be held at NASAs Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, AL over theperiod from purchase order award through September 30, 2011.NASA/NSSC intends to purchase the training course from JMJ Associates, LLP, 8310-1N,Capital of Texas Hwy, Suite 440, Austin, TX 78731. Pursuant to FAR 13.106, theacquisition of these services has been determined to be reasonably available from onlyone source. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 3:30 p.m. local timeon July 8, 2011. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, whichshall be considered by the agency.Capabilities and qualifications should be submitted to Amanda McInnis atAmanda.T.McInnis@nasa.gov.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
