- The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Panama City, 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City, Florida 32407-7001 intends to award a Purchase Order on a competitive basis, to provide one (1) Hydraulic Guillotine Shearing Machine with the following specifications: Cutting Capacity: ; Cutting Length: 8 1-5/8 ; Variable Rake Angle: 1 to 3 ; Number of Hold Downs: 14; Speed: 11 to 17 SPM; Clamping Force: 75 tons; Cutting Force: 170 tons; Back Gauge Stroke: 39 ; Motor: 10 HP; Working Height: 31- ; Dimensions: 124 x 69 x 80 ; Weight: (approx): 8,360 lbs; the following standard equipment: electro hydraulic variable rake angle adjustment 1 to 3 ; Quick blade gap adjustment 22 ga to ; Individual hydraulic hold downs; Illumination light; 39 front operated back gauge with read-out; Shear blades four sided, quality high-carbon high chrome blades; Hydraulic full protection against overload through built-in safety valve; the following tooling included: Squaring arm 39 ; Built in ball transfers in table; Foot pedal, tool kit; Operation Manual The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to issue a competitive Request for Quote. The RFQ will be 100% Small Business Set-Aside and will be issued on or about 7 July 2011. In accordance with FAR 13, a Firm Fixed Price type Contract is anticipated. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 423830 and the size standard is 100 employees.
