- The National Park Service, Department of Interior, is soliciting quotes from firms having the capability to provide the item(s) listed below. This solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) website at https://ideasec.nbc.gov. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. Prospective bidders desiring to conduct business with DOI are requested to register at the National Business Center. Bidders wishing to receive electronic notification of changes will need to register to receive notification of this specific solicitation at https://ideasec.nbc.gov. This service is provided for convenience only and does not serve as a guarantee of notification. No other notifications will be sent.Set-Aside: 100% Set-aside for Small Business - Project Title: Lyon House Exterior Paintingr - Full Park Name, City, State: Lincoln Home National Historic Site, 413 South 8th Street, Springfield, IL 62701 - Solicitation Number: P11PS60589 -Issue Date: On or about July 20, 2011 - Closing Date: On or about August 20, 2011 - The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. Work includes, but is not limited to: Proper surface preparation and application of one new primer coat and two finish coats of paint to the entire exterior surface of the Lyon House located at the Lincoln Home National histori Site. The estimated exterior surface is 4,750 square feet. - The NAICS code for this project is 238320 and the small business size standard is $14.0 million. - Contract duration is 90 days following notice to proceed. - In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. - This requirement is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is subject to the requirements of FAR Part 15. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.236-27 Alt 1, Site Visit (Construction). Responses will be due approximately 30 days following issuance of solicitation. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which will be considered.
