- The U.S. Department of Energy, Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) to Furnish and install one (1) 50? X 250? (approx) single-story, metal building system on an existing concrete foundation; entrance concrete slab, complete electric and drainage improvements in accordance with the scope of work. This work will be performed at the Southwestern Power Administration?s Springfield, Missouri maintenance facility, 2858 S Golden, Springfield, MO 65807. This project is being advertised as a Small business Set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 236220 and the small business size standard is $33.5 million. The magnitude of this project is estimated to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Contractor registration in the Government?s Central Contractor Registry (CCR) is required in order to be eligible for contract award. Registration may be completed and information regarding the registration process may be obtained at http://www.ccr.gov. The solicitation package will be issued on or about June 30, 2011 with bids being due on or about August 1, 2011.
